1989-2009 CWWA– Celebrating 20 Years

About CWWA

The Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA)  is a regional, non‐profit organization, whose membership includes professionals from the water and the wastewater sector. CWWA was founded in 1989 as a Nongovernmental Organization by an Act of Parliament in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The CWWA, for the last eighteen, years has hosted its annual conference and exhibition, which explores themes relevance to water and waste resources. This event also provides the opportunity for vendors to exhibit technologies and services to the single largest assembly of water and waste resources professionals and executives in the Caribbean.

Traditionally, the conference is hosted on a rotational basis throughout the Caribbean. We are pleased to announce that the U.S. Virgin Islands has been selected to host the 18th Annual Conference and Exhibition to be held October 4-10, 2009 on St. Thomas at the Marriott Frenchman’s Reef and Morning Star Resort. The co-hosts for this year’s conference are the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) and the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (VIWAPA) in conjunction with the Government of the Virgin Island’s Office of the Governor and Department of Tourism and the University of the Virgin Islands.
